The engineering office CAE was established in 2007 in Bucharest, in order to integrate innovative Western Europe energy saving concepts, to generate a strong point of sale during a period of rapid growth in the property market in Romania.
The founder and owner of the company, Mr. Dipl.-Ing. Holger König is working in this field since 15 years, owns a successful engineering-company in Munich and was able to work out a very good reputation in planning of "new constructions" as well as in "renovating of old buildings".

For the past several years everybody is talking about keywords like "Green Building", "energy efficiency" and "sustainability", the CAE team is dealing with extensively in Munich since 1994. Here in Romania, there is often no electricity available because of the rapidly growth of construction areas and therefore it is necessary to limit the capacity of transformers.
An example of innovative approaches by our Romanian company is the transfer of efficient cooling generation into the night-hours (at lower temperatures) and the storage in so-called "ice banks". This approach solves the problem from the very beginning and reduces the transformer capacity by 40 - 50%, optimizing energy consumption.
In addition to international projects, such as a holiday complex in Bali (Indonesia) and a solar heating system of a new hospital in Mazar-I-Sharif (Afghanistan), CAE team from Bucharest is working on a "Logistic Park" having an area of 160,000 m2 of covered storage spaces, near Bucharest, ensuring all stages of planning and obtaining authorizations (PT, PAC and DDE). Since two years we also work on an office-complex in northern Bucharest, comprising several buildings with an above-ground area of more than 55,000 m2 which will be ready to rent soon. On this project our tasks are Tendering, Value Engineering and Quality Management.
